TacTech Marketplace Extension Privacy Policy

TacTech Marketplace is a browser extension that helps users evaluate product photos, prepare used-equipment listings, and draft SMS quote messages for customers or sellers.

The extension is designed to assist the user's own marketplace workflow. It does not publish listings, send SMS messages, or contact third parties without user action.

Product and website content: product photos, listing text, form fields, page context, item condition, category, description, estimated value, and quote drafts that the user chooses to process.

Personal information: names, phone numbers, email addresses, company names, pickup or business addresses, and similar contact details when the user enters or selects them for a listing or quote.

Personal communications: SMS quote drafts, message templates, recipient details, and related customer communication content needed to help prepare or send a user-approved quote.

Location information: pickup location, city, ZIP code, business address, or other item-location details when provided by the user or present on a supported page. We do not require GPS tracking for the core workflow.

Authentication and local settings: account/session state, user preferences, drafts, and extension state stored locally or in TacTech systems when needed to provide the service.

We use the information only to provide product photo evaluation, listing drafting, pricing or quote assistance, SMS quote preparation, user preferences, troubleshooting, security, and service improvement.

We may send user-selected photos, listing content, and quote context to TacTech servers or service providers that help generate evaluations, listing text, and message drafts.

We do not sell user data. We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to TacTech Marketplace's single purpose. We do not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending decisions.

We share data only with service providers needed to operate the extension, such as hosting, AI analysis, storage, authentication, analytics for service reliability, or messaging providers used for user-approved SMS workflows.

Service providers are expected to process data only for the services they provide to TacTech Marketplace. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users, TacTech, or the service from abuse.

Users can review and edit generated listings, evaluations, and SMS quote drafts before using them. Users can clear local extension data through Chrome settings or by removing the extension.

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

TacTech Marketplace is intended for business and marketplace users. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
